The Controller X offers sufficient performance reserves for demanding data backup tasks: up to 6 GB/sec in file transfer and up to 2 GB/sec via S3 as a single node. Plus up to 100G Ethernet. For faster backups and faster recovery - and for fast, active VTL archives as a tape replacement.

The Controller X occupies only 2 U in the rack and provides up to 768 TB (gross) capacity with its up to 8 slots for Silent Brick Pro - with Silent Brick Max, the total capacity can be expanded to over 6 petabytes. The thermally optimized design requires less cooling and thus reduces both space and energy requirements in the data center.

Recycle | FAST LTA

Selected components, redundant power supply units and extensive quality controls ensure a particularly long service life. Existing Silent Brick Max can be easily reused from the previous system without any loss of data. Together with our CARE Service with a term of up to 10 years, you can protect your investment over an exceptionally long period.
